Sometimes we don't know what to do. There is always option to walk around and find better outfit.
However sometimes this is not an option for numbers of reasons so we are sticking with what we have.
Here is example of the dress one of its kind

I have a new address and I hope to stay here for a while.
We have a purpose-built workshop just for my studio.
I don’t have as many stairs or a fancy lift, but I’ve swapped a luxury studio for the possibility of working around my kids
, which is my highest priority for the next few years.
44 Coombe Road, Swindon
I work by appointment only
book slot in my google calendar
I hope to see you very soon :)

My first thought was that this dress could be taken in at the side seams. However, after the initial fitting and considering other options, we decided to take it in through the princess seams. The dress needed to be reduced by about 4 inches in total—approximately two sizes.
This approach allowed us to reducethe bust size to the correct size without making the dress look too wide or unflattering.
We also needed to shorten the straps by 2 inches on each side.

Almost very fitting starts the same — just a few tweaks here and there. A straightforward job! 🙂
This was a prom dress, a beautiful creation.
Alterations performed:
Shoulder lift
Hem shortening
Repositioning and repopulating the beadwork to make the adjustments invisible and preserve the original design
Details:
During the shoulder lift, each bead was carefully removed and securely reattached. The hem was shortened, and the beads were adjusted to maintain a consistent gap between the bottom of the hem and the start of the beadwork. This ensured all alterations were seamless and the dress retained its original beauty.

They look amazing, but … after turning a fake pocket into a usable one, it feels like there’s a little extra padding on one side of my bum! it might be because they are fitted so any extra layer feels like just extra 😅 but I have somewhere to put my phone this is big win !
I have taken a leap of faith with a bit of calculated risk — I have moved from home into my first business unit. I am located at Marlborough House, Unit 15, this week. I hope to see some of you 😊
Now I can shout at the top of my lungs that my location is perfect — it is exactly what I have been looking for for such a long time. It was something I was always missing when working for somebody else. I looked, searched, and viewed countless commercial premises, including contacting our council in the hope of finding some options, but with no luck. But here I am at Marlborough House.
I had enough of working in cold/hot conservatory.
My new place is clean, modern interiors and full of character — it is Old Town after all! There are plenty of car parking options to suit any of my future customers’ needs.
I am disability-friendly with a lift, since I am located on the 2nd floor.
My husband and I also built a 5×5 ft fitting room — spacious enough for a bride in a big ball gown or accessible for a wheelchair.
If you’re coming from far away or rushing over after work, there are restrooms available, which are also disability-friendly. I’m insured, set up, and ready to roll!
Feel free to keep it for reference.
Whether it’s for a job, a friendly chat, or to share feedback, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
I’d love to hear from you—let’s begin this fun journey together!
I can’t wait to help you turn your favourite pieces of clothing into comfortable, wearable treasures.
For now, I work from home—my living room and conservatory are my fitting rooms, and my bedroom is my workstation
The Importance of a Perfect Fit on Your Wedding Day
Your wedding dress is more than just a beautiful garment—it’s a memory in the making. You’ll be photographed from every angle, hugged by everyone you love, and remembered in your dress for years to come. That's why the fit matters just as much as the style.
Too often, brides try to save a little by skipping alterations—and end up with photos they don’t love. Gowns that are too loose, too tight, or sit awkwardly can distract from your natural beauty and confidence. And once the day is over, there's no fixing how your dress looked in those once-in-a-lifetime pictures.
A perfect fit means:
You look elegant and effortless in every photo
You move comfortably and confidently all day
Your dress highlights your shape exactly the way it should
Don’t let a small savings today lead to long-term regrets. Your memories—and your photos—are forever. Make sure your dress fits like it was made just for you. Because it should be.
Let me help you shine your brightest on your big day.
